This week sees the first of the Curtin Connect buildings reach completion in line with the project master programme.
Building 200B is being handed over to the Curtin University staff, one level at a time, as Swan Group completes the fast-track fitout works, furniture installation and relocation works across all three floors.
Formerly the home of the Co op Bookshop and CITS Service Desk, 200B now houses Finance and Human Resources departments as well as CITS. Features include agile working spaces for staff as well as a range of meeting rooms incorporating flat panel displays and video conferencing capability.
Building 101 is a major component of the Curtin Connect master project and the interior fitout works are well underway behind closed doors.
Landscaping works have begun in the area between buildings 101 & 109, and several ‘Pop-Up’ huts are currently being erected to house temporary student information centres for orientation week.
The fitout works in building 102 commence this week following the relocation of staff services into building 101 and the completion of all internal demolition.
The Curtin Connect showpiece, building 102 will later form the new vibrant hub for future and current student experience.
