Swan Group refurbished both the Ground Floor and Lower Ground Floor Entry Portals at the recently renamed Exchange Tower in Perth CBD; another project in an extensive portfolio of works at the building.
Following a rebrand, when the 40-storey skyscraper’s name changed from Exchange Plaza to Exchange Tower, the front and rear Entry Portals required an upgrade to reflect this evolution.
The success of the project was a result of Swan Group’s careful planning and management of pedestrian traffic through the busy entrance points.
Works started by demolishing the existing cladding to allow a full site measure, production of shop drawings and manufacture of structural steel, glazing, stone and signage. Careful consideration was then given to the recessed linear LEDs, backlit signage and access panels to the auto door equipment.
Standing as the initial entry statement of this highly prestigious building, it was absolutely imperative that a timeless impression of quality was conveyed to those visiting the tower. This has been achieved with considerate design from architects, Wood Bagot and a close attention to detail from Swan Group’s site team.
