Rockingham Bus Depot New Admin Building (D&C)

Swan Group successfully delivered the Rockingham Bus Depot Extensions and Refurbishment (D&C) project in collaboration with Programmed Facility Management (PFM) for the Public Transport Authority (PTA).

Our Swan Construction division personnel had already been involved in the design phase alongside another construction company before officially taking on the responsibility to complete the three construction stages.

Notably, stage one was not only completed but also commissioned ahead of schedule, allowing the bus depot staff to promptly occupy the new facilities.

Throughout the entire construction period, the depot remained fully operational, with a keen focus on ensuring seamless bus operations while prioritising safety and efficiency.

The comprehensive scope of works encompassed the design and construction of a modern and functional replacement bus depot administration office facility, a new car parking area, an advanced workshop, and a state-of-the-art steam cleaning bay. Additionally, the existing workshop underwent essential additions and alterations to enhance its functionality and efficiency.

The project was a great success, meeting all requirements and expectations set by the Client.
